![]() ![]() So every time you update your graphics drivers, it's like your chef is learning new recipes, to keep the customers happy. Now the best chefs are always learning new recipes, and better ways to make old recipes, and they're responding to the customers who like things better this way or that. In the same way, and the operating system doesn't know how this graphics card (the kitchen staff) works at its best, but the graphics driver does. Now, the waiter doesn't know what is needed to get the kitchen staff to make the perfect hamburger in the fastest time possible, but the chef does. He tells the operating system the meal he wants, and like a good waiter, the operating system takes that information to your chef. Now, remember that the hungry man is your computer, and your computer wants its favorite meal, the next icture for the screen (He's so hungry, he orders this as many as 60 times every second!). He's delighted, so he comes back for more and more. "Get me a bun toast it! Get some ground beef and pan-fry it with bread crumbs, an egg and a little garlic powder! I need 2 slices of pickle and a leaf of greenleaf lettuce! Put them together in this order get it on a plate with some steak fries!" The kitchen staff scrambles to his exact instructions and in minutes a delicious hamburger is carried by the waiter to the hungry man. The waiter goes to the chef and says "the customer wants a hamburger." Now the chef tells his kitchen staff what they have to do to build the best burger really fast. He orders his favorite meal, a hamburger, from the waiter. ![]() Imagine your computer is a person who goes to a restaurant very hungry. ![]()
